2011 Hunter Rivmaster Warialda 200 honours go to Buddy and Kerry Crowe taking out first overall win. After being so close to a win in the past only to DNF within site of the finish line, the crew were ecstatic with their win.

Dominating the event from the start by winning prologue the Crowe team went into Sunday with a slender 18 second lead over local favourite Terry Rose.

Getting the starts on Terry on both long course heats the Crowe team went on to win both long course heats and the overall win, with team mate and defending Warialda champion Bruce Chapman and Peter Vial coming in second overall. Third, after suffering a puncture on one of Basham’s many rocks was Terry Rose and property owner Brian Basham.

“Terry and Bruce kept me honest all weekend with some great racing out on the long course” added Buddy.

“Bud was the man to beat all weekend. He has earn’t this win and I couldn’t be happier for him” added Chapman.

The third Runamuk entry of Alisha Crowe retired on the long course section with suspension failure. “No I didn’t hit anything” commented Alisha. “I’m so proud of Mum and Dad, they have always enjoyed this race and it’s great to see them win it”.

The next event for the Runamuk team will be the Albins Off Road Gear Goondiwindi 400 being held on the 15th and 16th October. With no major problems the Crowe Jimco is already prepped for the next round. The Chapman car is currently being prepared at their Tamworth workshop and will once again see young gun Bryce Chapman take over the driving and navigating for him will be Peter Vial.
