The 2015 Australian Off Road Championship has kicked off fine form with the running of the prologue at the BFGoodrich Tires Sunraysia 600. Shannon and Ian Rentsch have brought their winning formula from 2014 into the new year, topping the time sheet in the prologue and repeating the feat in the Top 10 ShootOut.The Hogs Breath SR Racing Jimco #1 clocked in at 8m36.585 in the prologue, bettering their time by 15.59second in the Top 10 ShootOut to secure pole position for the first of the two 100km laps this afternoon.17 year old local Tanner James with Adrian Lucy doing the navigating duties blitzed his more experience racers to take second in the prologue and Top 10 ShootOut. Matt Hanson and Leigh Wells have driven the SMU Jimco #7 into a great position, slotting into third.The shot of day went Brad Gallard and Scott Modistach #454, who hit the tyres at the end of the finish whoops, doing a full barrel roll, landing the #454 majestically back on its wheels to cross the finish line.
Racing resumes at 1:30pm with the two laps of the 100km track.
