2/12/2019
The Mint 400 announced today Jimco Racing has stepped up to support The Great American Off-Road Race and its participants. Jimco Racing will be on-site during the Off-Road Festival with a full-line of racer safety gear, from Impact, Mastercraft, MOMO and Sparco including new race-legal camlock and latch & link belts, crew suits, fueler aprons, and more.
Jimco will be offering a discount on Impact products to all registered racers, in addition to one-stop shopping on Fremont Street for all the last-minute items needed for a successful race. This discount on Impact products is available before the race by calling the Jimco Store 619-596-3360 / sales@jimcoracing.com.
With hundreds of wins and 23 Chassis Builder of the Year awards, Jimco Racing, Inc. continues the tradition as the worldwide leader in off-road race car manufacturing and race preparation. Specializing in chassis design and development since 1975, Jimco’s custom handcrafted racecars are highly regarded for their innovation and attention to detail. Additional services offered include parts sales, race team logistics as well as arrive and drive rental programs.
“Since acquiring Jimco in early 2018, Robbie Pierce has taken the company to the next level. He’s been on a tear with marketing both his company and the remarkable vehicles he creates for his clients. He just launched an entirely new website and has taken all his new vehicle builds to the studio for some amazing imagery. We’re happy to have them on board to bring their excellence to The Mint 400,” commented Mint 400 CEO, Matt Martelli.
Last August, Jimco Racing finished Spitfire; a custom Luxury Pre-Runner specially created for Spitfire Racing. Designed and constructed from the ground up, Spitfire excels in the most extreme off-road terrain while surrounding the driver with the luxury of premium amenities. Featuring supercharged dual air conditioners, distressed Italian leather cigar-brown carbon fiber seats, and the most user-friendly modern technology in GPS tracking and integrated vehicle performance management, Jimco pre-runners are considered the supercars of off-road.
In June, Jimco Racing launched The Hammerhead; the next evolution in Class 1 race vehicles. Featuring the technology of a Trophy Truck front-end, The Hammerhead also offers a mid-engine design coupled with longer trailing arms and provides up to two-inches of additional wheel travel, an improved center-of-gravity, and the durability that made Jimco a leader in racecar design and engineering. Building upon Jimco’s successful Champion series chassis, The Hammerhead Wilson Class 1 and the Parkhouse rear-engine Hammerhead chassis will be ones to watch in 2019.
“The Mint 400 is the Super Bowl of off-road racing, and Jimco will be coming in full force. It’s important for us to have a strong presence on-site to support our racers, teams and pit crews. There’s not a better overall experience than being on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas for a technical inspection and contingency row,” commented Jimco Racing CEO, Robbie Pierce.
Be sure to visit Jimco Racing during the Off-Road Festival for all your needs on race day and check out the vehicles they will have on display.
